p>Danny Gokey got to make his first appearance at the Grand Ole Opry Friday night.

Here’s what he tweeted: “What an honor to have sung at the Grand Ole Opry. I was so nervous and intimidated.”

He doesn’t sound nervous in the audio clip below.

Of course, Danny performed “My Best Days Are Ahead of Me,” the lead single off his upcoming album, “My Best Days.” Sounds like a country hit, huh?

The other song he performed: “It’s Only.”

The album is due to drop in early March. Pre-orders are now being taken on Danny’s MySpace.
