Danny, the third-place finisher on American Idol Season 8, received a pair of nominations, including in the Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song category for “Haven’t Seen It Yet” and in the Best Christian Album category for his album of the same name.
It’s the second time Danny’s been nominated for a Grammy. His first nomination was in 2017 for his album “Rise.”

Koryn, 21, has snagged a Grammy nomination for the second straight year. Last year, she was nominated for Best Gospel Performance for the song “Won’t He Do It.”
Her 2020 nomination comes in the same category, this time for the song “Speak the Name,” which includes an assist from Natalie Grant.
Koryn, a finalist on Season 8 of The Voice, recently won her second Dove Award when her debut album “Unstoppable” was named Best Gospel Album of 2019.
Other artists with singing show connections to receive Grammy nominations include Voice coach Blake Shelton, former X Factor contestant Camila Cabello and Voice coach John Legend.
The Grammys are set for Sunday, Jan. 26, in L.A. and will air on CBS.
