Daughtry and Adam Lambert help ring in the New Year

Idols helped ring in the New Year from New York to Las Vegas to Los Angeles and, I’m sure, at points in between Thursday night.

The Associated Press somehow failed to cover the Billboard’s New Year’s Eve event in Vegas, featuring performances by Allison Iraheta and Kris Allen.

But AP provided photos from the performances by Daughtry and Adam Lambert. They follow.
