Daughtry, the band fronted by former American Idol standout Chris Daughtry, will release its first new album since 2013 in late July.

Chris Daughtry has announced that his band’s new album will be called “Cage to Rattle” and will be released July 27.

In fact, pre-orders just began on iTunes and through the Daughtry website.

Anyone who pre-orders on either site gets an immediate download of the band’s new single, “Deep End,” which you can check out below.

And Daughtry fan club members who pre-order through the website by June 13 will have their name added to the CD liner notes.

The new album will feature 10 tracks. “Deep End” is the second released. The band released the music video for “Backbone” about a week ago.

Daughtry will be out on tour when the new album drops. Shows in the mid-Atlantic area include the Musikfest in Bethlehem, Pa., on Aug. 4, the Bloomsburg (Pa.) Fair on Sept. 21 and a show in Ocean City, Md., on Sept. 22.

You can find out more on those shows and the rest by heading to the website.

Here’s “Deep End.”
