And the band recently announced a spring tour that’s good news for fans in the mid-Atlantic area.
“We are very much looking forward to hitting the road again and reconnecting with our fans,” Chris Daughtry wrote on Facebook.
“We’ve been grinding away in the studio working diligently on our fifth album and cannot wait to share the new material in 2018. Our fans have waited long enough.”
In truth, the band hasn’t released a full new album since 2013’s “Baptized.”
Two years ago, Daughtry released “It’s Not Over … The Hits So Far,” which included two new songs.
As for the tour, it kicks off March 7 in Fort Myers, Fla., and includes 10 shows that month.
Daughtry will be stopping in Baltimore on Sunday, March 18, in Greensburg (think Pittsburgh area) on Tuesday, March 20, and in Lancaster on Wednesday, March 21.
Tickets are on sale now. Follow the links above for more information.
