It’s follows the Christian pop single “I Know He Lives” as David’s second release of 2021.
This time, he teamed up with Joe Tounge and Nate Dodge to write the song; Dodge also handled production on “Be That for You.”
“It’s been a while since I’ve done a romantic song,” David said. “We wrote ‘Be That For You’ to be a more light-hearted love song.
“Wanted it to be vibey and moody, yet make you dance.”
David also released a video for the song, which you can check out below.
Meanwhile, David’s planning a live stream for April 23 and has announced a 29-date tour for early 2022 that includes stops in Washington, D.C., and Sellerville, Pa. Ticket information is available through his website.
