David Archuleta is at the missionary training center preparing for a two-year mission trip with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
But he left behind some musical treats, and one of them surfaced today in the form of a new music video for “Forevermore.”
It’s the title track off David’s just released album of Filipino love songs. And his website is urging fans to make it the number one video in the Philipphines by voting at MYXph.com.
Meanwhile, we’re still awaiting a release date for a U.S. cover album David recorded just before leaving for his missionary training.
Here’s the video. David sounds great, as always.

This young man’s voice soothes my soul. Doesn’t hurt that he’s easy on the eyes, haha.
Such a heartfelt, beautifully sung, song.
David’s voice sounds amazing on the song Forevermore & on the entire album!! Love him!
David’s voice is a beautiful match with classic OPM love songs and the dreamy relaxed video is a perfect match with the song. And can I say hooray for finally having a @DavidArchie single and video that’s a slow sweet love song (I love watching David sing them). BTW you can order the Forevermore CD on WOWHD and Amazon local sites, and with higher shipping but for many more countries from Astrovision’s Archuleta listings on Multiply. And we are awaiting a release of a subtitled DVD set of Nandito Ako (David was leading man and sung the themes). And this fall we expect a US album that David worked on up until the day before he went on his 2-year Mormon mission. Follow @DavidArchie on Twitter and keep an eye on his official site and fansites for news and releases. And then – #DA2014
