Demi will perform “Made in the USA” from her self-titled album, “Demi.”

It’s a natural fit, of course, with FOX trying to drum up interest in Season 3 of The X Factor, where Demi is a judge.

Thursday’s press release didn’t define what role American Idol Season 12 winner Candice Glover would play on Sunday’s awards show.

But she is a nominee in the category called Choice Breakout Artist, along with Psy, Emile Sande, Ed Sheeran and Ariana Grande.

Other newly announced performers scheduled to appear on the show inlcude Selena Gomez, Ashton Kutcher and Fifth Harmony, the vocal quintet that finished third last year on The X Factor.

Candice isn’t the only Idol nominated for an award Sunday.

Phillip Phillip’s “Gone, Gone, Gone” is nominated for top rock song, along with “Carry On” by fun, “Ho Hey” by the Lumineers, “Radioactive” by the Imagine Dragons and “Sail” by AWOLNation.

And Ryan Seacrest is nominated in a category called Choice TV Personality Male, along with Adam Levine and Blake Shelton of The Voice, Simon Cowell of The X Factor and Nick Cannon of “America’s Got Talent.”

Among the other nominees are Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Christina Aguilera. For a complete rundown, head here.
