The show has announced details of its bus tour stop in Charm City.

Auditions will run from about 9 a.m. to about 5 p.m. at Kaufman Pavilion, which is between the Maryland Science Center and Rash Field in the Inner Harbor area.

Singers are encouraged to show up as close to 9 a.m. as possible; potential auditioners who show up late in the day aren’t guaranteed a chance to try out, the show warns.

Also, no overnight camping out is allowed.

Once you arrive, you’ll be asked to register and sent to an audition line, according to audition details on AmericanIdol.com.

Baltimore will be the second stop on the East Coast leg of the bus tour, which kicks off Thursday with stops in Seattle, Wash., and Providence, R.I.

The bus tour will stop in Pittsburgh on Tuesday, and a round of the more traditional Idol auditions will be held Aug. 2 in Philly.
