Diana DeGarmo, Ace Young have new music, too

We all saw Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young get engaged on the American Idol finale.

But did you know they both also released new music earlier this week.

Diana put out a five-song country EP, anchored by the single “Good Goodbye,” which she debuted on The Young and Restless earlier this year.

The highlight of the EP is the closing track, a duet with Ace called “Us Against the World,” which I’ve embedded below.

Ace released a single called “I Wanna Fall in Love Again.”  Appears he already did.

Anyway, both the EP and Ace’s single are available on iTunes, of course.

Ace, 31, and Diana, 24, became a couple when the performed together — and, yes, undressed together — for a Broadway production of “Hair” back in 2010.

Her stint as a mobster’s spoiled daughter on The Young and Restless over, Diana will be working together with Ace again this summer in Branson, Miss.

They’ll be part of a new show called “Finalists Live!” at the Andy Williams Moon River Theatre, performing with other former American Idol finalists.

Now, as for the engagement, Diana told People she was caught totally off guard and nearly spoiled the big moment by heading to the bathroom to fix her hair at the wrong time.

Ace said he called Nigel Lythgoe last week to arrange an on-air proposal during the finale.

And the rest, as they say, is Idol history.

Now, that duet featuring the happy couple …
