Which makes me wonder what Miley Cyrus was hearing when Emily Luther unleashed that show-ending performance of “Summertime” as he show wrapped up it fourth blind audition episode.

Altogether, five more singers earned spots on the show, leaving 17 more available next week when the blind auditions wrap up.

Below, I’ve picked my favorite two performance of the evening.

1. Emily Luther
Song: “Summertime” by Ella Fitzgerald
Chair turns: Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Jennifer Hudson turned. Emily joined Team Adam.
Why: My expectations were high after hearing Emily’s cover of Carrie Underwood’s “Little Toy Guns.” Emily didn’t disappoint. On a night when young artists flashed lots of potential, she arrived on stage an already-ready-for-prime-time performer. I was a little surprised Charlie Puth wasn’t even mentioned.

2. Sophia Bollman
Song: “Invincible” by Kelly Clarkson
Chair turns: Blake Shelton and Miley Cyrus both turned late in the performance. Sophia joined Team Miley
Why: Talk about potential, wow. Sophia’s performance was a little rough around the edges. But at about the 50 second mark, she displayed an oh-so-lovely tone, then followed it up with a display of her vocal firepower. If she can harness it, that’s a winning combination.
