Once again on Tuesday, iTunes results proved a great indicator of how things would work out on The Voice.

Eleven songs from Monday’s show hits the iTunes Top 200 chart Tuesday, with Aaron Gibson’s “Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings” landing at 156, the lowest of the bunch.

The only artist who didn’t chart was Sa’Rayah, who strayed from R&B to rock Monday night when she sang Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer.”

And when the final two were unveiled during Tuesday’s results show, it was Aaron and Sa’Rayah who wound up singing for the save.

Twitter fans favored Aaron, meaning he’ll advance to the Top 11.

In my opinion, those fans got it wrong. Sa’Rayah delivered the stronger save me performance.

But she was also one of four female R&B singers remaining on a show that’s never been kind to female R&B singers, so I wasn’t surprised by the elimination.

The save-me performances and my grades follow.

Advancing to next week are:

Team Adam — Billy Gilman, Josh Gallagher, Brendan Fletcher

Team Alicia — Christian Cuevas, We McDonald

Team Blake — Sundance Head, Austin Allsup, Courtney Harrell

Team Miley — Ali Caldwell, Darby Walker, Aaron Gibson

Save-Me Performances

Aaron Gibson, “Lego House” — Aaron lends his distinctive vocals to the Ed Sheeran hit and turns in a solid performance. That said, it was a bit subdued for a song coming form a singer with his Voice life on the line. Grade: B–

Sa’Rayah, “Rock Steady” — The song choice allowed Sa’Rayah to return to her comfort zone, which isn’t a bad thing when you can work a stage like she did, belt out big notes and serve up all sorts of vocal tricks. The big question is why she didn’t sing this Monday instead of Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer. Grade: B+
