Five more singers landed spots on The Voice Season 15 Tuesday night.

A second artist joined the comeback stage.

And DeAndre Nico became the second singer from Season 15 to land one of those coveted four-chair turns.

Keith Paluso, 30, Memphis, Tenn.: He’s a park ranger, who says he gets “embarrassingly excited about birds.” His wife’s name is Bethany and he took her on a toad survey on their first date. The birth of his son inspired him to return to his love of music and start writing songs again. He wants to show his son that sometimes you have to take chances in life. He’ll audition with “Way Down We Go” and opens quite impressively. His nice gravelly voice prompts a quick chair turn from Blake. On the last note, Adam turns too, only to discover he’s been blocked. Jennifer compliments him on his “soulful” voice. Blake predicts America will love Keith’s voice. The block means Keith will be a member of Team Blake.

Claire Dejean, 17, Dallas, Texas: She says she looks up to all four artists a lot. Claire says her mom put her in musical theater when she was in third grade and she’s stuck with it all through to years. She also now teaches young students from kindergarten through grade four in music and dance. Claire’s mom praises her worth ethic. She’ll audition with “Hurt Somebody.” She sounds just a tad nervous on those opening lines, but immediately shows off a very, very nice tone. She gets a very quick chair turn from Blake Shelton. A really pretty ending prompts a chair turn from Kelly as well. Blake says Claire’s the type of artist who doesn’t come along too often and loves her combination of folk and pop sounds. Kelly likes her soulful singer-songwriter vibe and shows off the really cool jacket she gives team members. Claire opts to join Team Kelly.

Franc West, 38, Atlanta, Ga.: He’s a pastor’s kids. Here’s an interesting story about his first public performance. He says his mom was singing a song in church and choked on a piece of candy. He grabbed the mic and finished the song. He also served in the military and was a cadence singer with 500 soldiers marching to the beat o fhis voice. He eventually found himself back in church, leading worshipp. He became a father at age 22 and says he’s doing “The Voice” for his son. Franc calls himself a “dream chaser.” He’ll audition with “Dock of the Bay.” Kelly seems immediately impressed with his voice, but doesn’t turn her chair. Who does turn? Jennifer, meaning Franc automatically becomes a member of Team JHUD. Jennifer says she likes the smoky-ness in his voice.

Michael Lee, 30, Fort Worth, Texas: He got married 17 days before his voice audition and is thrilled to have married his best friend. His wife says he loves three things: her, music and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Michael says he’s been performing since age 17, and got wrapped up in the rock and roll lifestyle, doing things he shouldn’t have. He credits his wife with getting him back on track. Sounds like he’s got lots of experience, since he’s been playing 200 shows a year. He launches into a cover of “The Thrill is Gone” that immediately becomes one of the best we’ve heard yet in Season 15. Really strong voice. Adam turns quickly, and he’s joined by Jennifer as the performance is winding down. Adam is clearly impressed, Jennifer gives Michael her first shoe toss of the year and Blake spins around as well. Michael picks Team Blake and Jennifer wants her shoe back.

Ele Ivory, 20, Nashville, Tenn: She seems to have a quirky personality. And a different sort of job. She works in a cave. Music is involved though. It’s a place called Bluegrass Underground, where musicians play in a cavern. She dreams of a day she and her band will play their. She says it’s tough breaking out as a pop artist in a town where country rules. She’s going to play keys and sing “Jump.” She has a quirky sort of pop sound to match that personality. But you can feel her nerves too. She finishes with no chair turns. A comeback artist perhaps? Yep, you could pretty much predict that. Ele will be working with Kelsea Ballerini for a chance to return to the show.

DeAndre Nico, 23, Port Arthur, Texas: A year ago, Hurricane Harvey hit his hometown. He was driving in it, expecting a thunderstorm. Next thing, he looked out and his car was in flood waters. He says he was wound up trapped in a home for two days with no foot, no electricity and no water. Then came a rescue, which he calls an “amazing feeling.” Since the hurricane, DaAndre says all he’s been doing is gigging and sleeping on couches, because music is about all he has left. He’ll audition with “When I Was Your Man.” Yep, this guy’s got a really good voice. Adam turns at the first chorus and is quickly joined by Jennifer when DeAndre begins an impressive run. Near the end of the performance, Kelly and Blake turn too, giving DeAndre the second four-chair turn of Season 15. Wow, DeAndre goes with Team Adam. Adam calls him a beast, saying his voice is both rich and soulful.
