Season 10 Voice contestant Jared Harder released his debut single Friday.
The song is called “Heaven Knows,” and Jared calls it “the most honest song I’ve ever written.”
“If I could let people hear one message from me, about who I am as a person and the mistakes I’ve made and the things I want to do better, this is that song,” Jared says in a Facebook post for fans.
Jared, from Joplin, Missouri, was 22 when he auditioned for The Voice and landed a spot on Team Blake. He was eliminated in a battle round match with eventual Season 10 runner-up Adam Wakefield.
Pre-Voice, he was a member of the bands Lexington Heights and the Kat Niles Band and worked as a guitarist for Christian and country artists.
Here’s “Heaven Knows.”
