Besphrenz is Yoitscj and Matt McAndrew. They’ve released their first single, MIA.

But he also just dropped a new single with friend and rapper Yoitscj (C.J. Smith).

The duo call themselves Besphrenz and the song is called “MIA.”

It hit iTunes last week, and Matt’s fans are enjoying the new sound based on the feedback he’s getting on Facebook.

Writes one fan: “Love it! New tempo for Matt!!! Great job and absolutely buying it!”

Meanwhile, Matt’s been working on that EP at the Sound Emporium in Nashville.

You can pre-order the EP and snag all sorts of other goodies on his Pledge Music page.

Though he signed with Republic Records after finishing second on Season 7 of The Voice, Matt is releasing the EP as an independent project.

The Republic Records deal resulted in a lone single, “Counting on Love,” released last summer.

Meanwhile, Besphrenz has launched a Facebook page and Twitter account.
