If you were counting on tuning in tonight to watch Crystal Bowersox, Katelyn Epperly and the Idol gals deliver their second performance on the American Idol stage, you’re in for a surprise.

FOX just announced that the ladies and the gentlemen have swapped evenings, with the guys going on tonight, the girls tomorrow night.

The problem is an unspecified medical issue which would have prevented Crystal from performing this evening.

So come 8 p.m. tonight, get ready for semifinal songs from Casey James, Michael Lynche, Andrew Garcia, Lee DeWyze and company.

Oh, my, that means we have to endure Kara DioGuardi going on and on about how cute Casey is.
