Brian Rittenberry, Season 12

Hear more from American Idol’s Brian Rittenberry

We met Brian Rittenberry early in American Idol’s Charlotte audition episode.

He’s the guy whose wife was diagnosed with stage four cancer, leaving him wondering how to explain to his young son that she wouldn’t be around much longer.

Three years later, she’s well and attended the Idol auditions with him. Heck, she even got to give Keith Urban a peck on the cheek.

But it was Brian who impressed the Idol judges by singing “Let It Be” and earning four yes votes to advance to Hollywood.

Here are three videos of Brian. I’ll post a full bio blog on Brian and the other featured Idol contestants at a later date.

Meanwhile, to hear more from other contestants advancing to Hollywood, head here.
