Johnny Keyser was featured in an audition episode of American Idol for the second time this year.
We met the 23-year-old from Pompano Beach, Fla., again Thursday in the Chicago audition episode.
He sang “Try a Little Tenderness” well enough to prompt Mariah Carey to call him a star.
Last year, he made it to Vegas before being eliminated, then was one of three males considered for a wild card spot.
After the show, he released a seven-track EP called “From Where I Stand” that’s still available on iTunes.
Here are three videos of Johnny. I’ll be posting a full bio blog on him and other featured American Idol contestants at a later date.
“Early Morning Rain”
“Yellow”
“Barton Hollow”
