Miss Baton Rouge’s audition was pretty memorable.
After all, it’s not often an American Idol auditioner shows up on crutches, vowing that her leg could fall off, but she wasn’t about to miss her opportunity to go to Hollywood.
Megan Miller’s right leg was in a cast because she’d just been in an auto accident. She showed her upbeat personality by using her crutch as a microphone at one point during her audition.
But it was her vocals as well as her sense of humor that tickled the judges and had Mariah Carey calling her “very talented.”
She displayed a big voice and a soulful tone on “Something’s Got a Hold on Me.”
Below are three other clips of Megan singing. I’ll post a full bio blog on Megan and other featured Idol contestants at a later date.
