Stephanie Hanvey was one of the many Jennifer Lopez fans we met on American Idol’s Season 13 premiere.
The 16-year-old from Howell, N.J., praised J-Lo for being a wonderful role model.

It seems Idol invited her parents into the audition room after she received her unanimous yes to advance to Hollywood.
“I hugged my mom and then we both fell to the floor,” she says, laughing. “Then my mom looked up and said, ‘Is that Jennifer Lopez?'”
Stepahnie says she also draws inspiration from Beyonce.
“She has shown girls all the world that you can respect yourself and grow up to be a phenomenal woman,” the New Jersey teen said.
Stephanie describes herself as an R&B pop singer who has the versatility to cross over into other genres, and says she’s been working on starting a music career for seven years.
On her YouTube Channel, Stephanie describes herself as a bilingual singer/actress/songwriter/dancer.
She has also launched an “I’m That Girl” online video series, charting the career of an “upcoming pop star.”
