Hello Sunday — Myla Finks and Chelsea Glover — became the first duo to earn a spot on Season 17 of The Voice last week.

They also became the youngest duo in Voice history.

At the time of their audition, Myla was 14 and Chelsea was 13.

They made the show thanks to their performance of “This is Me” from “The Greatest Showman.”

Kelly Clarkson turned her chair for their performance and said, based on that, they could become a “magical” presence on Season 17.

Here’s what Chelsea had to say about their blind audition.

Voice Views: How did you wind up auditioning for The Voice Season 17 and what prompted you to do it?

Chelsea: Our manager, Natarsha Garcia, submitted our tape to the casting director and they showed interest and they reached back out to us for an audition.

Voice Views: Why did you choose “This is Me” for your audition song?

Chelsea: We chose “This is Me” because we thought this song could reach many people. Its a song about overcoming obstacles.

Voice Views: You’re both 14 now, right? Still, that’s very young for The Voice. What do you plan to do or what do you hope will help you stand out in a crowd of more experienced singers?

Chelsea: I think we plan to stand out by having exotic harmonies, runs, and arrangments. We like to “go for it” and we don’t like to play it safe. That’s what will help us stand out in the crowd of more experienced singers. We’re not afraid to tackle big songs.

Voice Views: What’s the biggest thing you’ve done as a duo prior to The Voice and what type of music do you prefer to perform?

Chelsea: The biggest thing we’ve done as a duo is sing with some big R&B Stars — Q-Parker of 112, Angie Stone, Jacket Edge, Bobbie Valentino, Algebra, and TonyTerry for a benefit Christmas Concert for the Elderly in Atlanta. It was an honor to sing along with these musical legends at our very young age. We want to perform good music that a lot of people can listen to and enjoy.
