Here’s what the Top 24 will sing on The Voice; Apple Music versions return

1

Hallelujah! The Voice has brought back Apple Music versions of contestants’ songs for Top 24 night.

This is a major step in the right direction for a show that hasn’t made many right moves in Season 16.

As recently as last spring, every performance on The Voice was available on Apple Music / iTunes.

That was cut back to just the Top 13 in Season 15, an illogical move for a show that bills itself as a boot camp for singers.

After all, post-Voice, these singers are more likely to wind up in a recording studio than on another singing show.

Anyway, you can check out all the songs we’ll hear tonight below.

And, once the show begins, streams will count as votes, with a maximum of 10 votes per Apple Music account.

The overnight voting window closes at 7 a.m. eastern time (adjust accordingly for your time zone), so be sure to finish your streaming by then.

Judging from the official rules, an Apple Music bonus will also be available. That means the artist with the most streams has them multiplied by five.

There are some intriguing song choices on the list below.

Personally, I can’t wait to hear Celia Babini sing “The Chain.” And “Total Eclipse of the Heart” is the song that launched Chloe Kohanski to front-runner status back in Season 13.
