Kellly Clarkson's Piece by PieceKelly Clarkson released her sixth studio album — “Piece by Piece” — today.

And, of course, the album has skyrocketed to number one on the iTunes albums chart.

But that’s not the most exciting news for local fans of the original American Idol.

Kelly also announced a summer tour with Pentatonix.

And the 36-date affair will start at Hersheypark Stadium on Saturday, July 11. Tickets go on sale March 14, which would be next weekend.

The tour also includes a Sunday, July 19, stop at the First Niagra Pavilion in Pittsburgh. And it concludes in the Philly suburbs with a Sunday, Sept. 20, show at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, N.J.

Pre-sale opportunities are available from Kelly’s website, and you can check out all the tour dates on her Facebook page.

Back to the music, for a minute. Not only is Kelly number one on the iTunes albums chart, her new songs are peppering the iTunes Top 200 singles chart.

Her new single “Heartbeat” leads the way at number 14, but five other tunes are currently in the Top 200 including the title track, “Run Run Run,” “Someone,” “Invincible” and “Take U High.”
