Season 9, Season 9 Finals

Idol Finals Week 3: The photo gallery

For all the criticism, the remaining 10 Idols did pretty well Tuesday night.

Certainly well enough to provide hope for the rest of season nine.

We find out who goes home tonight in a one-hour episode with a 9 p.m. start time.

And we might not have to endure one of those Idol group numbers, because Idol has announced three performers for tonight’s results show.

Those include Usher, this week’s guest mentor, plus Diddy and Idol’s season two champ, Ruben Studdard.

No word on what Ruben will be singing, but his current single, “Don’t Make ‘Em Like U No More,” has been resting in the top 40 on Billboard’s R&B chart over the past month.

Enough type. Here’s the photo gallery from Tuesday night’s show.
