The American Idol judges gave rave reviews to Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze for their performance on inspirational song night on American Idol.

They seemed less inspired by the other performers.

The fun resumes tonight when Idol cuts the field of contestants down to six in a two-hour show that begins at 8 p.m.

Two hours because its also Idol Gives Back night, featuring performances by Elton John, Annie Lennox and Idol’s season four winner, Carrie Underwood.
