And then there were three Idols standing — Lee DeWyze, Crystal Bowersox and Casey James.
Michael Lynche was eliminated Wednesday night in a results show that also featured performances by Bon Jovi, Fantasia and Daughtry.
If you missed it, Fantasia sang “Bittersweet,” the first single from her soon-to-be-released third album.
The album is due out this summer, and the season three winner said it’s been “three years too long” since she had a new album out.
Next week, each of the top three Idols will perform two songs, according to a release issued by Idol after Wednesday’s show. One will be a judge’s choice; one will be selected by the finalist.
The fun resumes Tuesday at 8 p.m.
Check back this afternoon for an exit interview with Big Mike.
And check back Friday for coverage of the final three as they head home to a hero’s welcome.
