Thursday was a night of surprises on American Idol.

First, there were the unannounced guest appearances by Stevie Wonder and Hulk Hogan.

Then, of course, the unpredictable bottom three, with Casey Abrams singing for his life until the judges interrupted him with the most dramatic “save” yet on Idol.
