Idols headed this way and plenty of good tickets remain

Want to see Colton Dixon perform his original song “Never Gone” live?

Want to see “Home,” the Phillip Phillips’ tune that is burning up iTunes, performed in person?

Your chance is coming up.

After months of gigs everywhere from San Diego to Orlando, the American Idol Season 11 summer tour is coming this way.

The Idols will make stops in D.C. and Baltimore this week, Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.

Next week, they’ll be stopping in Pittsburgh (Tuesday) and the following week in Philly (Tuesday, Aug. 21).

Judging from a check I did this morning, premium tickets are still available for all those shows. Very good seats, as a matter of fact.

Here’s ticket price information and links for where to buy them …

Wednesday, Aug. 8 at Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.: Tickets range from $58.45 to $79.90, including fees. Go here for information.

Thursday, Aug. 9 at 1st Mariner Center, Baltimore: Tickets are $57.75 and $80.20, including fees. Go here for more information.

Tuesday, Aug. 14 at Consol Energy Center, Pittsburgh: Tickets are $40.70 and $76.95, including fees. Go here for information.

Tuesday, Aug. 21 at Wells Fargo Center in Philly: Tickets range from $27.50 to $63, not including fees. Go here for information.

The Idols will make one last return to the area on Sept. 8, when they play the Sovereign Center in Reading. Go here for ticket information.

Meanwhile, just in case you can’t attend, I’ve embedded performances of the aforementioned songs above and below.
