The final spots in the Season 8 live playoffs on The Voice were determined Monday night.

And India Carney and Joshua Davis turned in performances that served notice that we might be hearing more from them for weeks to come.

India turned in the vocal of the night when she sang Jessie J.’s “Big White Room” during a Team Christina knockout round match.

And Joshua turned in the night’s most emotional performance with a cover of “In the Arms of a Woman” that he dedicated to his wife.

Joshua advanced on Team Adam, but his knockout round foe also survived. Lexi Davila earned the final save of Season 8 with a performance of “Anything Can Happen” and is now a member of Team Christina.

Other advancing singers from Tuesday’s show include Rob Taylor of Team Christina, Brooke Adee of Team Blake, Tonya Boyd-Cannon of Team Adam and Lowell Oakley of Team Pharrell.
