In another incredibly close vote, India Carney earned her second straight instant save on The Voice Tuesday night.

That means she will join Joshua Davis of Team Adam, Meghan Linsey of Team Blake and Sawyer Fredericks and Koryn Hawthorne of Team Pharrell in next week’s Season 8 semifinals.

As Tuesday’s results show drew to a close, the two remaining Team Christina members — India and Kimberly Nichole — wound up standing side by side as the bottom two vote-getters.

India performed Pink’s “Perfect” for her save-me song; Kimberly countered with “Seven Nation Army.”

And as the show returned from commercial break, the graphic on the TV screen showed the instant save Twitter vote split evenly between the women.

Then Carson declared India the winner. She becomes the just third singer in the show’s history — Ryan Sill and Kat Perkins were the others — to receive instant saves in back-to-back weeks.
