Jamal Roberts is the new American Idol.

He also has a charting single.

On Sunday, American Idol’s Top 7 all released singles, in many cases songs they performed on the show.

Jamal’s single is his cover of Tom Odell’s “Heal,” a song he performed on Idol’s Top 12 show in late April.

By noon Monday, Jamal’s version of “Heal” was sitting at number one on Apple Music’s overall singles chart.

It was also number one on the site’s R&B singles chart.

Several of the other new singles were charting as well, including those of finalists Breanna Nix and John Foster.
