James David Carter delivers another winning performance on The Voice

0

Two weeks ago, Blake Shelton decided to advance James David Carter despite a splendid performance by James’ battle round partner.

James proved Blake’s faith was well deserved with another sterling performance Monday night in the knockout round.

James sang “You’ve Got a Friend” by James Taylor, delivering a country version of the song and showing off his singer-songwriter vibe.

He was pitted against Griffin, who performed Justin Bieber’s “As Long as You Love Me.”

Both singers drew high praise from the coaches.

But Blake declared James the winner, meaning he will advance to the live playoffs in two weeks.

Here are photos of their performances, as provided by NBC.
