Jason Castro set to release single; album planned

0

Jason Castro from American Idol Season 7 is about to release a new single and should have an album out in September, according to his website.

The single is called “Only a Mountain;” the album of the same name will be a contemporary Christian CD in keeping with his late-2010 release “Who I Am.”

Jason will also be touring to support the album, and the tour dates include a 7 p.m. Oct. 21 stop in Lancaster County (Pa.)

He’ll be performing that night at Manheim Brethren in Christ Church as an opening act for For King and Country and Dara Maclean.

Tickets are $10 and available here; there’s a $3 service charge.

Jason finished fourth on Season 7 of Idol and released a self-titled pop album in 2009 with modest success.

You can check out tunes from the 2010 “Who I Am” release on his website. For all his tour dates, go here.

Now … “Only a Mountain.”
