Jason Castro released “Only a Mountain,” his new Christian CD, on Tuesday.

I’ll post a mini review later this week. In the meantime, here are live versions of my three favorite songs from the album.

The “Same Kind of Broken” duet features Moriah Peters and is the album’s absolute standout track. Check it out.

Moriah released her own Christian album, “I Chose Jesus,” last April.

Jason finished fourth on Season 7 of Idol and will perform two shows in Pennsylvania this week as part of Winter Jam 2013.

The tour lands at the Sovereign Center in Reading on Thursday (6 p.m., admission $10) and at Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center on Friday (6 p.m., admission $10).
