Jena Irene Asciutto releases new music video

of my favorite post-American Idol releases this year is the five-track “Innocence” EP from Jena Irene Asciutto.

Now the gal from Detroit — runner-up on Season 13 — has released a new music video.

It’s for one of the songs from that EP, “You Gotta Help Me,” and its the third music video she’s released since Idol, following “Unbreakable” and “Innocence.”

Jena’s also been working on a debut album, “Cold Fame.”

I haven’t seen a release date yet, but here’s how Jena describes “Cold Fame” on her website.

“This album is the story of my becoming a woman and becoming an artist. The songs are very blunt, very raw and authentic. I think it’s a good thing for girls my age to know that it’s OK to be open and be yourself.”
