Fresh off her Grammy win for Best R&B Album, Jennifer Hudson is heading out on tour with Robin Thicke.
And two of the first shows of the tour are in this area, an April 4 show at the Lyric Theatre in Baltimore; and an April 5 show at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C.
Tickets for the Baltimore show range from $47.50 to $67.50 and go on sale Friday, Feb. 27, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.
No word on the start of ticket sales for the show at Constitution Hall, and the information on that one is a little confusing. Ticketmaster only lists Robin Thicke for that show, though Jennifer’s Web site clearly includes that show as part of her tour.
Can’t imagine Jennifer would skip playing D.C.
Oh, and there will apparently be meet-and-greet opportunities for most of the tour dates.
Jennifer has also released the video for the third single off her self-titled album. The song is “If This Isn’t Love.” You can check out the video on her Web site. Information about the meet-and-greets is also available there.

Wow, I thought I might have been tough on Tatiana in the tribute to her that I posted Thursday night.
John Peter Lewis, a season three contestant, is blogging about the show. Here’s what he had to say after Tuesday’s performance.
“Oh, Tatiana Of the Bull, you may think we can’t see through your attempt to show us you’re not a self-centered, attention-starved maniac, but just as sure as you’ve got flappy lunch-lady arms we all know enough to expect an outburst from you when it’s someone else sitting on the fuzzy blue safe couch and not you.”
Wow, again. Guess he isn’t a Tatiana fan.
But I know where you’re coming from, John Peter.
His blogs, by the way, are part of a Web site he’s launched at americannobody.com.
John Peter finished eighth in season three. He won a spot in the finals via a wild card, which Idol has reinstituted this year with one big difference. When John Peter won his spot, the fans of the show voted. In season eight, the judges will pick the wild card winners.
Tatiana?
We hope not, right John Peter?

Taylor Hicks has released the video for “What’s Right is Right.” That’s the first single off his upcoming album, set for a March 10 release. You can check out the video here.
But, hey, this was a big week for Taylor for another reason, too. He was one of two lucky bachelors who got to play the dating game on Live with Regis and Kelly.
He wound up choosing Julie Courtney, a 31-year-old real estate consultant. Julie slayed the other two contestants, putting on a dating game how-to demonstration.
I mean, she was good. She promised to be Taylor’s “San Francisco treat” and said she’d take an Ipod filled with Taylor Hicks music along if she was stranded on a deserted island. She even made smooching noises when asked to speak in another language.
For those antics, she got a red rose and a harmonica from Taylor, dinner at the River Cafe in New York and a trip to a karaoke bar where she and Taylor sang together.
You can watch video clips from the show here. Gotta admit, when I clicked on the dating game video, I thought “I can’t believe I’m doing this. But no sacrifice is too big for Idol Chatter.”
But as it turned out, the dating game clip was quite entertaining.
