As previously reported, Carrie Underwood has a Christmas special airing 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, on FOX with David Cook among her guests.

Now comes news that Jennifer Hudson’s “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” will be shown on ABC, same time, exactly one week later.

The show will follow Jennifer back to Chicago, where she will introduce us to some of the people and places that laid the groundwork for her future stardom.

A fellow Grammy Award winner, Michael Buble, will also appear on the show and sing two duets with Jennifer — “Baby It’s Cold Outside” and “Let It Snow,” according to a press release issued Monday.

Jennifer will also perform holiday classics solo, including “Silent Night,” “The Christmas Song” and “O Holy Night.”

Head to Jennifer’s Web site, and you can see some behind the scenes footage of her return to Chicago.
