Jennifer Hudson goes dancing with David Guetta

Dance hit-maker David Guetta released a new single, “Night of Your Life,” Tuesday.

And this one features former American Idol contestant and Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson.

This morning, the song is number 31 on iTunes’ singles list, one spot above Guetta’s “Where Them Girls At,” which features Flo Rida and the red-hot Nicki Minaj.

You can check out the song below. Personally, I like it as much as any of the tracks off Jennifer’s “I Remember Me” album, released earlier this year.

Jennifer’s been busy in other respects as well.

On Saturday, she attended a kickoff event for the Julian D. King Gift Foundation in Chicago, helping distribute school supplies and backpacks to about 2,000 students, according to ABC.

The foundation honors Jennifer’s nephew, who was killed at age 7 along with Jennifer’s mother and brother  in 2008.

And filming recently wrapped up on a new Three Stooges film in which Jennifer has a part. She plays Sister Rosemary, a nun in the orphanage where the Stooges grow up.

Jane Lynch of “Glee” fame plays Mother Superior; the Stooges are played by Sean Hayes, Will Sasso and Chris Diamantopoulos. The movie will be out sometime next year.

Here’s a link to a story about what Jane has to say about the film.
