Sunday night at the Oscars will be more about acting than music, but a former Idol contestant will still be performing.
Jennifer Hudson will participate in a tribute to the resurgence of big-screen musicals, the Oscar folks announced earlier this week.
Les Miserables, of course, is one of the nine nominees for Best Picture, and Hugh Jackman is up for Best Actor honors.
Hence, the tribute, which will also include Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jackman and Les Miserables cast-mates Anne Hathaway and Russell Crowe.
Jennifer, of course, is no stranger to the Oscars, having won one for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Chicago (2007).
Oscar coverage begins Sunday at 7 p.m. on ABC. Check back Sunday evening for photos of Jennifer at the event.
