Adam Levine was the only coach to turn his chair when Jesse Larson performed John Lennon’s “Jealous Guy” during The Voice Season 12 blind auditions.
But he wound up making it all the way to the finals and finishing fourth on the show, behind only Aliyah Moulden, Lauren Duski and Chris Blue.
That result shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise.
After all, Jesse had been performing with the Minneapolis group MPLS for about five years prior to stepping on The Voice stage at age 34.
And he impressed the late Prince so much that he was hired to work on Judith Hill’s post-Voice album.
Here are photos of Jesse from The Voice Season 12 finals.
