Jessica Sanchez’s upcoming album has a name: “Me, You and the Music.”
It has an album cover, which you can check out below.
It even has a pre-order date: March 21.
Now all we need is an official release date, please.
One site I found says Jessica will release a single later this month and the album on May 7.
But that site also says the album will include 16 tracks, more than you’ll typically find on debut albums these days.
The single later this month rings true.
We know that song is called “Tonight,” that it’s a collaboration with Ne-Yo, and that Jessica was shooting the video for it two Fridays ago in L.A.
I won’t be surprised to see Jessica on one of the first Idol results shows of Season 12 singing that tune.
Jessica is the first Idol runner-up in six years not to release a debut album in the same year she appeared on Idol.
The last time that happened was Season 5, when Katharine McPhee’s first CD came out the following January.
