Joana Martinez of Team Gwen Stefani won the instant save at the end of Tuesday’s results show on The Voice.

That means the youngest soloist remaining on Season 17 has another week to win fans over with her big vocals.

That meant the elimination of Cali Wilson of Team Blake and Max Boyle of Team Kelly, both of whom had fared better on Apple Music with their Monday night performances.

All three singers had a chance to perform for the instant save. Here are Voice Views’ song by song grades for those performances.

Cali Wilson (Team Blake): She’s singing “The Chain” by Fleetwood Mac, an excellent choice if she can pull it off. And he hits a nice early glory note that should help her cause. Her naturally raspy vocals should too. She lets loose with another soaring glory note before a brief guitar solo, then launches into the frenetic Stevie Nicks’ style ending. Nice performance. Grade: B

Max Boyle (Team Legend): He’s singing “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran. He delivers a wonderful opening, but Max hasn’t seemed quite on when he goes into his falsetto the last two nights. Yep, the range is impressive. But the covers need to be something I’d listen to over and over. That doesn’t pass that test. Grade: C+

Joana Martinez (Team Gwen): She’ll perform “Superwoman” by Alicia Keys. Lots is made of the fact that Hello Sunday is so young. Well, remember, Joana was just 15 when she auditioned. She’s got a big voice and a stage presence that’s impression given her youth and the pressure of this situation. She ends that with a glory note of her own. Grade: B–
