Johnny Hayes of The Voice Season 12.

The contestants from Season 12 of The Voice are wasting no time getting new music to their new fans.

Johnny Hayes is back playing with his pre-show band, Johnny Hayes and the Loveseats, which he describes as a “rock and soul band.”

And they recently dropped a new single, “Slow Dance.”

It’s one of the songs that will be featured on the band’s upcoming album, “Used to Get Down,” due out this fall.

Johnny was 29 when he auditioned for Season 12 with “Try a Little Tenderness” and landed a spot on Team Adam Levine.

He advanced all the way to the Top 24 before being eliminated in the live playoffs.

You can follow Johnny and his band on their Facebook page and website. On Twitter, you can find Johnny at @TheJohnnyHayes.

Here’s the single, which he also recently performed live for WEAR TV in Florida.
