Josh Gracin is back with a song called “Lucky Stars.”
Aaron Goodman, Larry McBride and Skip Black wrote the tune; Dave Pittenger produced it.
But it’s Josh who provides the personal connection.
It’s a song about getting a second shot at love. Josh remarried in 2017; he and his first wife divorced around 2014.
“When I heard ‘Lucky Stars’ for the first time, I immediately related to the story being told,” Josh told Taste of Country.
Josh also said he has more released planned for 2019, intending to release a new single every six to eight weeks.
Now 38, Josh placed fourth on Season 2 of American Idol and scored three Top 10 country hits with his debut album.
He last hit the charts in 2010 with a single called “Covergirl.”
Here’s “Lucky Stars.”
