One member of the American Idol Top 12 has already announced her post-show intentions when it comes to music.

Julia Gagnon and boyfriend Nate Haven released a three-track EP in October as “Chocolate Milk.”

Julia and Nate were engaged in December.

And Chocolate Milk will become JULIA, clearly to benefit from the increased fan base and acclaim Julia got from performing on Idol.

What’s more, Julia Gagnon said JULIA will be releasing its first single “very soon.”

“JULIA” may be my own voice, but the songs released are definitely a duo effect,” she writes in a social media post.

“This is officially the hard launch of this whole ‘artist’ thing. So I hope y’all enjoy.”

Julia, 21, of Cumberland, Maine, finished Top 7 on American Idol. Her cover of “Something in Orange” on Top 12 night was one of Season 22’s top performances.

Below, check out “August,” one of the song’s off that October EP from Nate and Julia.
