Country singers Dave Fenley and Kameron Marlowe took gambles during their Voice knockout round match.
On a show where viewers have shown solid support for country singers, they decided to stray from their chosen genre.
Dave performed “Stuck on You” by Lionel Richie. Kameron opted for “I Shot the Sheriff,” a hit for Eric Clapton.
It wound up working just fine for both. Blake Shelton declared Dave the winner of the knockout round, but Kameron was stolen by Adam Levine.
That means both will be singing for viewers votes in the live playoffs two weeks from now.
