Well, that sure made me smile.

And it’s nowhere near Christmastime.

I’m talking about the video of Kat Robichaud performing her hilarious “The Gremlins Song,” which you can check out below.

It’s one of six songs she’s planning to put on a holiday EP for release later this year.

She’s launched a Kickstarter to support the project. And just days into the campaign, she’s already more than 60 percent to her $10,000 goal.

Of course, supporters get rewards, like signed copies of the EP. And signed David Bowie or gremlin Christmas tree ornaments.

Kat was Top 5 on Season 6 of The Voice. Since then, she’s released lots of great music. If you haven’t heard her Darling Misfits album, you absolutely must!

And she launched the Misfit Cabaret musical variety show in San Francisco. In fact, five of the songs on the upcoming EP were written for the Christmas show at Misfit Cabaret.

That includes one called “The Star Wars Holiday Special.” And, of course, “The Gremlins Song.”
