Justin Bieber denied Kelly Clarkson her first CMT Music Award on Wednesday night.
Both were nominated in the category of Collaborative Video of the Year; Kelly for her hit duet with Jason Aldean, “Don’t You Want to Stay.”
But the CMT Award went to Bieber and Rascal Flatts for “That Should be Me.”
Carrie Underwood had also been nominated for an award tonight — Female Video of the Year — for “Undo It.”
That award went to Miranda Lambert for “The House That Built Me.”
“Undo It” was also among the initial 10 nominees for Video of the Year, but failed to crack the final five in an announcement made earlier in tonight’s show.
The honor eventually went to Taylor Swift for “Mine.”
Oh, well, Carrie already has two Video of the Year buckles to her credit, last year for “Cowboy Casanova” and in 2007 for “Before He Cheats.”
Here are photos from the show.

I didn’t follow the case so I have no opinion on guilt or innocence. What I do know is is that there only 12 people whose opinion counted. They voiced it and that’s that. Maybe the jurors just decided to shove it up the medias ass. Regardless, they sure did.
