For those not so disgusted by this week’s results that they’ll hang with Season 10, American Idol has announced a theme and guest performers for next week.
The theme: Songs from the movies.
The guest performers: Kelly Clarkson and Jason Aldean performing their duet, “Don’t You Want to Stay,” which topped the country singles chart a couple of weeks ago.
Plus Rihanna.
So, if nothing else, the guest performances should top what we saw last night as part of one of Idol’s all-time worst results shows.
