Kimberly Caldwell on Heatseekers album chart

Kimberly Caldwell's "Without Regret" album hits Billboard's Heatseekers Chart. Two bright spots to report this week on the Billboard music chart.

First, Kimberly Caldwell’s debut album, “Without Regret,” is number seven on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart.

Now that isn’t as good as debuting somewhere in the Billboard 200, but it’s not too shabby considering Kimberly is eight years removed from her time on Idol.

The album’s definitely worth checking out, especially the pop-rock tracks like “Mess of You” and “Desperate Girls and Stupid Boys.” Head here for the Idol Chatter review.

The second bit of good news involves “Where You At,” Jennifer Hudson’s lead single off her new “I Remember Me” album.

The song failed to make much of a splash on the Hot 100. In fact, it’s gone this week after just six weeks and after peaking at number 64.

But the song is turning into a dance club hit, surging five spots to number five on that chart.

Standing between Jennifer and number one are Kerli (“Army of Love”), Kat DeLuna (“Dancing Tonight”), Chris Brown (“Beautiful People”) and Ultra Nae (“Turn It Up”).

Other chart notables:

* Mandisa’s single “Stronger” is number three on the Christian singles chart for the third straight week. Casting Crowns has a lock on the top spot.

* After a surge on the charts following their Idol appearance, the Jason Aldean-Kelly Clarkson duet “Don’t You Want To Stay” tumbles nine spots on the Billboard 200 from its peak of 31.
